Now we begin to create the 3-D effect. Go to the Selections menuand choose Defloat. This places your text down on the background. Now goto the Selections menu again, and this time choose Float. This createsa copy of your selected image above the background. Hold down your Shiftkey, and use your arrow keys to move the selection down one pixel and tothe left one pixel. Now Defloat the image and then Float it again. Moveit down and to the left as before. Repeat this process a few times, eachtime moving down and to the left, until you are satisfied with the thicknessof your letters The image below was made up of five layers.
Now we add some more text. Set your foreground color to RGB 252,180, 46 and add text in that color. Place the text so that it is one pixelfurther down and one pixel further left than your last layer. Add the poolshadow to this text as well. Save as a transparent GIF.
